I arrived in Pompeii to begin my work on the new dig.

Digging begins in test holes.

 

7/20/04 to 8/11/04

The actual digging begins under the leadership of Professor Charles Walling.  The area he has chosen appears to be a good one, with minor items being found on a daily basis.

 

8/12/04

The cavern is discovered.  After several hours of enlarging the oppening I am awarded my first (and only) look inside.  I was lowered into the cavern using a small hand opperated winch, and armed with several lights.  I recall very little of the inner area of the cavern, I do recall seeing what appeared to be some type of image or pattern on the walls (this was later confirmed, see picture section) and at the bottom of the cavern was a pool, this pool was, at that time approximatly ten feet in diameter, and appeared to be evaporating quickly, slight fumes were visable eminating from the surface of the pool as it evaporated.

 

 

8/12/04

 I have been told by persons on the site that I began yelling for them to get me out only moments after they lowered my down, when they had me out of the cavern I was severely disorented, and appeared to be in great pain.  I was transported by ambulance to the Cava de' Tirreni Hospital in Salerno.

 

8/13/04

I was transported by plane to Cygnus Medical Center in Paragon City.(this decision was made due to thier vast experience with "superheroes")

 

8/14/04 to 8/15/04

Medical persons at the Cygnus Medical Center conduct multipul tests in an attempt to discover what i had been exposed to, without success.

I awoke at approximately 11:42 paragon time, feeling normal, but certainly not looking it.

 

8/16/04 to 11/17/04

Doctors and researchers from around the world wait in line for thier chance to poke, prod, and/or question me. They all fail to discover the cause or a cure for my condition, which i now refer to as "the Vesuvius Factor"

 

11/18/04

Having exhausted all known medical options, I have been released.  As I am leaving a nurse i have not seen before (I thought i knew them all by now) suggests I go see Jonathan St. John Smythe at S.E.R.A.P.H. in the ctiy hall building.

Jonathan has given me new hope, he has informed me of a rouge doctor named Vahzilok who is involved in some sort of medical experimentation.  He has also warned me that this Dr. Vahzilok is involved in illegal and unethical experiments involving unwilling test subjects.  I have decided to seek this man out.

 

11/20/04 to 11/23/04

I have followed Jonathans directions to an old sewer section where reported sightings of Dr. Vahizloks minions have been filed with the Paragon Police recently. These minions are unwilling to offer information on the doctors location, however they are very intrested in conduction some research of thier own on me.
